Water Supply and Sanitation

RDC has long standing experience in the Water Supply and Sanitation sector starting from the early nineteen eighties. Since then the RDC team has performed successfully in a changing environment, applying lessons learned with sound knowledge and practice. Being engaged with the implementation of a large number of water supply and associated development activities in Sri Lanka during three decades has given the firm an intimate understanding of recent developments in water supply issues and modalities of management.

The growing pressures from an increasing population and a complex environment have led to an urgent need for reliable water supply to meet the demands of rural and urban communities. New developments in the sector have assured that along with supply side initiatives, effective demand is assisted with improved systems of credit and financing. The growing demand and supply of water brings with it the need for proper drainage and waste water management.
