The objective of the Local Government Sector Enhancement Project is to provide improved local infrastructure and to ensure that services delivered effectively by the local authorities in less developed areas of Sri Lanka.  Infrastructure development sub projects have been identified in roads and bridges, water supply and sanitation with the objective of improving access to safe drinking water, improvements to storm water drainage to improve collection and safe disposal of the runoff and grey water in the areas, solid waste management to improve collection, transportation, treatment and safe disposal of the solid waste in the local authority area and other basic facilities such as local fairs, markets, etc.  The project has three components.

Component 1: Local Government Infrastructure and Service Delivery Improvement

Component 2: Local Government Policy Reform and Capacity Building Support

Component 3: Project Management and Administration Support

The scope of Consultancy services is to support 31 local Authorities in the two districts in the North Western province of Sri Lanka in Design and Implementation/Construction of sub projects. Our consultant team carries out the surveys and investigations, detailed feasibility study which included a detailed environmental feasibility, economic and financial feasibility.  Preparation of   Detailed Designs and a Detailed Project Report (DPR), preparation of Contract documents for each identified sub project, followed by supervision of construction of the sub projects following award.
