IDA funded Water Management Improvement Project (WMIP)
The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) and grant from the Government of Netherlands (GoN) towards a Water Management Improvement Project (WMIP). The assignment is to assist the Water Resources Planning Organization (WARPO) in institutional strengthening for its own planning as well as for other data users. The scope will consist of assisting in defining an institutional framework that would be responsive to specific needs of administering emerging tasks, responsibilities and activities, together with improving the overall context for water resources management and decision-making in Bangladesh.
