Second Community Water Supply & Sanitation Project (2nd CWSSP) – Technical Assistance for Project Implementation in Ampara District
The Project, funded by the World Bank, was designed to assist the Provincial Councils and Pradeshiya Sabhas to facilitate Community Based Organisations in providing improved water supply and sanitation facilities to selected Grama Niladari divisions in four provinces. The project promotes participatory approach where communities are expected to participate actively in decision making at all stages of sub-propjet implementation. The communities are responsible for construction, O&M of water supply and sanitation facilities.
