ADB TA – Feasibility Study of the Southern Transport Development Project

The Southern Transport Corridor is the area between the coastline and the possible alignment of a future highway some 10 to 15 kms inland and between the City of Colombo and Matara town. The objective of the Technical Assistance was to assist the Government in preparing a time-based investment plan for improving the primary road system in the southern transport corridor to increase its capacity in line with the projected demand.
