ADB Third Roads Project – Rehabilitation of Katunayake – Puttalam Road (Construction Supervision, ICB Component)

The ADB and OECF, Japan has agreed with the Government of Sri Lanka to co-finance the implementation of the ADB financed Third Roads Improvement Project and portion of the proceeds of this loan was provided for the rehabilitation and Improvement of the Katunayake – Puttalam Road, approximately 100 Km in length. The main objective of this project was to widen and improve the section of road from Katunayake to Negombo to dual 4 lane standards and the balance section to 2-lane standards and to reconstruct 4 major narrow bridges in a poor structured condition.
